Genasys Technologies

Software Developer - 2022 August - 2023 February

After my journey at GIC - Gap Infrastructure Corporation I started as a C# Software Developer at Genasys Technologies.

Employment type: Full time

I was given the opportunity to be part of a company and team that works with well-built and modular insurance software. I was part of the back-end team, but, from time to time got the chance to work on some Angular and TypeScript related tickets. C# being my main focus here, my skills grew exponentially in the short time with Genasys. I learnt about new concepts, new best practices and worked with the architect directly on implementing OAuth2 for the company, this was especially tricky to do as the code base was still legacy at the time. They were in the process of porting over to .NET 6.0 from 4.7.2 when I was tasked with this. It took me 3 months and a missed deadline, but with the help of my amazing team members and guidance of my fellow colleagues, we managed to keep everything under control. After the amazing exposure I got here I was once again offered employment from Stonehage Fleming.
