Starting out my professional career this was my first ever job after being a junior boiler maker at a local steel company. Working here for only 11 months, I was excited for growth and constantly seeking more, ambitious. I quickly jumped from this position to cashier, in the next town over.

Cashier - December 2015 - August 2016

Working as a cashier brought with it a lot of opportunity for growth within the company because I was given the opportunity to work with the branch buyer and learn about invoicing, buying, selling and many other retail related stock termonology. This, however, sparked the same ambition within me, and caused me to want more still. Especially the feed store supervisor at the time I had covered for him for months and loved the role of being a manager, being in charge of stock and building personal relationships with the farmers.

Feed Store Supervisor/Manager - September 2016 - February 2017

After being a cashier for a few months only I landed the supervisor role I wanted. The interviewers were surprised at how quickly I have grown and the fact that I made myself multi lingual learning Sotho and Tswana to be able to communicate properly with my colleagues in the feed store, I was an incredible and talented candidate for the position. Sadly, reaching every goal I set to achieve this quickly, made me want more still. Not knowing exactly where I wanted to be in life yet in terms of career path, I simply resigned, took my pension package and started doing research. I then found the IT industry and field. There was so much learn, seemingly endless. So I started studying my N+/A+/CCNA using my pesnion money to fund it. A mere 8 months into studying, I got head hunted by a start up company in Cape Town - ISN Managed Services (Pty) Ltd.
